1. Introduction

Welcome to alegant.eu ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or placing an order through our website www.alegant.eu, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before completing a purchase. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version published on our website at the time of your order shall apply.

2. About Us

alegant.eu is an online fine jewellery boutique operated under Czech law, offering handcrafted and curated pieces to discerning customers worldwide. For any enquiries, please contact us at team@alegant.eu.

3. Eligibility

By using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. Orders placed on behalf of a business entity may only be submitted by an authorised representative.

4. Products & Orders

We take great care to present each piece as accurately as possible. Please note that slight variations in colour, texture, and finish may occur due to the handcrafted nature of our jewellery and differences in screen calibration.

Placing an item in your cart does not constitute a reservation. A binding contract is formed only upon receipt of our order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors or stock unavailability, in which case a full refund will be issued promptly.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and are inclusive of applicable VAT where required by law. We accept the following payment methods: credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfer. All transactions are processed securely. alegant.eu does not store your payment details.

For international orders, your bank or card provider may apply currency conversion fees, for which we bear no responsibility.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and are indicative only. alegant.eu is not liable for delays caused by customs clearance, carrier disruptions, or circumstances beyond our control.

Title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon handover to the carrier. Import duties and taxes applicable in the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer.

7. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our separate Return & Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and is available at www.alegant.eu/returns. Your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law are not affected.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on alegant.eu — including photographs, product descriptions, logos, and design elements — is the exclusive property of alegant.eu or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, alegant.eu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order in question.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at www.alegant.eu/privacy. We are committed to handling your information with the utmost discretion and in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Czech data protection law.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Czech courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.
